That day, I decided it was time to make a choice.

He had given Caroline a future in heaven.

Now, I had to allow him to write my future on earth.

I live in freedom now knowing who I am in Him, and no longer believing the lies of the enemy.

I know I am who He says I am.

Whether or not we have earthly grandparents leading a life worth living, we have a Father in Heaven who shows us the way.

In the moments of pain and uncertainty, God is and has been good.

In the moments of healing and victory, God is and has been good.

You can show your scars as proof that you have been hurt, or you can show your scars as evidence that you are healed. 

If I did not face my trials, I would not have been pushed to God for help. I wouldn’t be as close to Him, and I wouldn’t have learned how to look for Him.

From this day forward, I began reading the Bible with new eyes, hearing sermons with new ears and seeing God’s plan for me.

He gave the ultimate sacrifice to save me, so the least I could do for him is serve and love others.

I finally realized and accepted that my miracle may not look the way I wanted it to, but I would praise Him all the same.

My marriage died, but three days later God made it clear that He would bring it back to life again.
